I recently returned home to Rhode Island for a family visit and made it out to my old stomping grounds, Lincoln Woods. I revisited a climb called Barbed Wire that I started trying back when I was 15. I’ve spent many hours at this boulder with various groups of friends but was never able to put it together; however on this perfect winter day it finally happened!! It felt like a chapter of my New England climbing past had closed for good.
Riding the elation of sending, I hopped on a climb I had never tried called Shoot to Maim and managed to wrap that one up as well ;)
Ironically I think Shoot to Maim is the problem that tipped my wrist injury over the edge; I already had it taped and those aggressive right-hand moves probably rattled some stuff around.
Anyways, enjoy!! ^_^
Positive thinking just brings nothing but good vibes and good people. I appreciate those that lift me up and I discard quickly those that bring me down. Surrounding myself with go-getters, strong willed, and confident people only make me stronger and confident. Can’t wait to go back to Bishop!! #optimistic #bishop #bouldering
